Jerry Wayne Sharpe

Yadkinville Mr. Jerry Wayne Sharpe, 70, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, June 26, 2015 at his home. Mr. Sharpe was born June 6, 1945 in Iredell County to the late Wilfred and Violet Peoples Sharpe. He was an active member of Mt. Bethel Baptist Church. Mr. Sharpe enjoyed working with his cars and motorcycles, and telling others about his love for his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Mr. Sharpe is survived by one son, Kevin (Danell) Sharpe; one sister, Jean Riddle; one brother, Wilfred Sharpe, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, June 29, 2015 at 3:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Bro. Don Hudson and Bro. Bobby Watts officiating. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove United Methodist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, 4332 Mt Bethel Church Rd, East Bend, NC 27018. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to all the special friends and neighbors for their visits, prayers, and thoughtfulness throughout Jerry's illness.
