Jonesville Mrs. Teresa Gail Key Swaim, 54, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center. Mrs. Swaim was born April 19, 1961 in Surry County to Danny and Sylvia Cox Key. Teresa gave the gift of life by being an organ donor. She loved her family and was loved by all who knew her. Mrs. Swaim was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Edith Swaim. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Chris Graylen Swaim; two sons, Heath (Kristen) Booker and Dalton Swaim (McKayla Lawson); two step daughters, Kristie (Mark) Willett and Kellie (Brandon) Douglas; five grandchildren, Brady Booker, Jadon and Kason Welborn, and Evan and Nora Douglas; father-in-law, Kenneth Swaim; two sisters, Anna Key (Glenn) Stinson and Sara Key (Canaan) Longworth; one brother, Jeff Key; three nephews, Joshua Key (Margaret Griffin), Jacob (Mary Kathryn) Key, and Andrew Key; one great nephew, Elijah Key; dear friends, Doug and Kim Longworth; and 2 special K-9 companions, J.J. and Max. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, June 29, 2015 at 11:00AM at Bible Baptist Church with Rev. Dwayne Lankford officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Bible Baptist Church. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 5933 Highway 21 South, Jonesville, NC 28642. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center ICU Neuro and to her co-workers, especially Jodi Hicks, for all the love, care, and support shown to Teresa and her family during this difficult time.
