Carol Vestal Bray

Bray Jonesville- Mrs. Carol Vestal Bray, 74, of Little Mountain Road passed away peacefully Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Yadkin Nursing Center. She was born December 5, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late Dennis and Madge Groce Vestal. Mrs. Bray worked for several years with McClean Trucking Company and with Midway Tire and Marine of Jonesville. She was a faithful member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Boonville. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by an infant daughter, Amy Lynn Bray and by a special nephew, Dillon Vestal. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Dave Bray of the home; her daughter, Kristie Bray Brake, Jonesville; grandsons, Joshua and Jacob Brake; and her sister, Phyllis Gardner, Jonesville. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Tuesday at Gentry Family Funeral Service on Little Mountain Road in Jonesville. Her funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Shady Grove Baptist Church by Rev. Paul Stewart and Rev. Wesley Mosteller. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
