Camella Lucille Puryer Harding

October 3, 1916 — July 18, 2015

- Camella Lucille Puryear Harding, 98, on Saturday Morning July 18, 2015 our Angel departed this earthly life and transitioned to her Heavenly Home from the Hospice and Palliative Care Center in Winston Salem. She was born October 3, 1916 to the late Robert and Mary Puryear. She lived in Yadkin County her entire life. You could always find her in the kitchen cooking, not only for her family but anyone who happened to drop by. She was a faithful and loyal member of Forbush Baptist Church until her health declined. She was always in the church working for the Lord. She also loved and was proud to be a member of the Yadkin and Davie Association and would recruit anyone she could to become a part. Her loving memories will be cherished by her devoted and loving husband of 80 years Odell Cuthrell Harding; a daughter Helen Glenn, a devoted and loyal son-in-law Floyd Glenn; two grandchildren Wayne Glenn (Georgetown, SC) and Michelle Glenn (East Bend, NC); five great grandchildren; and one great- great grandson; devote nieces, nephews, close friends. She was preceded in death by five sisters Annie, Neilie, Mamie, Grace and Ethel; three brothers John, Lewis, and Jim. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Forbush Baptist Church on Courtney Huntsville Road. Her funeral will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM Tuesday at Forbush Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to acknowledge and especially thank the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home and everyone who cared for her during her Illness.
