Murray Boonville - Bobby Gene Murray, 81, passed away Monday, August 03, 2015 at his home. He was born April 6, 1934 in Illinois by the late Glenn Murray and Edith McKenzie Murray. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy Vars; grandson, David. Surviving are his wife, Elizabeth Eppler Murray; children, Robert Murray, Michael Murray, Tammy Brooks, Mark Murray, Scott Murray; grandchildren, Tanya, Jennifer, Michael, Dustin, Sierra, Matthew, Hunter, Joel, Mark, Dalton, Stephen, Travis. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, 2015 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Stephen Evans. Following the service will be full military honors by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346. The family will receive friends prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 7, 2015 at Salisbury National Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Murray family.
