Miles "Clifford" Royall

Yadkinville Mr. Miles "Clifford" Royall, 89, passed away Friday, August 07, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Royall was born October 24, 1925 in Yadkin County to Miles Shelah and Flora Shore Royall. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served during WWII. Mr. Royall was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church. He enjoyed buying and selling, and yard sales. In addition to his parents, Mr. Royall was preceded in death by his wife, Shelba Collins Royall; one sister, Edna Hutchens; and two brothers, Charles F. Royall and Hubert Royall. He is survived by two sisters, Edith Hauser and Olean Harris; three brothers, William A. Royall, Bobby (Evelyn) Royall, and Danny (Judy) Royall; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, August 9, 2015 at 3:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Randy Parrish officiating. Burial will follow at Center UMC cemetery with full military honors provided by the Yadkin VFW Post 10346 and the NC National Guard Honor Guard. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267 Yadkinville, NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Forsyth Medical Center Palliative Care, the staff of Woltz Hospice Home, and to all the friends for their thoughts, prayers, and visits.
