Shirley Mae Ball Jones

Shirley Mae Ball Jones, 77, passed away Thursday August 20, 2015. She was born March 22, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late Marvin Edward and Minnie Lou Southard Ball. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband George Lewis Jones. Surviving are her children Michelle (Michael) Gray, Daniel Lambert (Timmie Lowery), Kenneth (Cricket) Lambert, William (Brenda) Lambert, Sharon (Terry) Bracken; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a brother Walden (Brenda) Ball. The family will receive friends from 6-8 Saturday night August 22, 2015 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Sunday August 23 at Longtown Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Bruce Freeman. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in Longtown Cemetery. Gentry Family Funeral Servcie in Yadkinville is serving the Jones family.
