Minnie Saunders Holcomb

Holcomb Boonville - Minnie Lou Saunders Holcomb, 76, passed away Friday, August 28, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born November 27, 1938 in Yadkin County to the late John Herby Saunders and Pauline Marsh Saunders. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters, Frances Hoots and Ruth Cain; brother, Wayne Saunders. Surviving are her children, Susan (Toby) Welborn, Jerry Holcomb; grandson, Wendell (Mandy) Jenkins; great grandchildren, Isaiah Jenkins and Allison Jenkins; sisters, Mary Ann Shore and Carol Pope; brothers, Marvin (Verna) Saunders and Larry (Wilma) Saunders; sister-in-law, Shirley Saunders; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2015 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. John Pillsbury. Burial will follow at Mitchell's Chapel United Meth Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Holcomb family.
