Mr. William Leo Brown, 95, passed away peacefully October 6, 2015. He was born August 16, 1920 to Cebron Paul and Laura Williams Brown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Elva Choplin Brown; two brothers Charlie Frank Brown and Locksley Cebron Brown; two sisters Edith B. Pardue and Katie B. Swaim. He was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church and was the oldest member at the time of his death. He worked for Chatham Manufacturing for many years before starting his own business Brown's Upholstery. Mr. Brown is survived by his sons Nolan G. Brown and W. Bryce Brown; his daughters Scarlett Jean Brown and Wanda B. Brandon; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; a brother John Roger Brown; two sisters Blanche B. Adams and Marie B. Wood. A graveside service will be conducted at 10:30 AM Friday October 9, 2015 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. His memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday October 9, 2015 at Richmond Hill Baptist Church by the Rev. Will Hamrick. Visitation will follow the memorial service.
