Jerlene Dinkins Willard

Jerlene Dinkins Willard, 78, passed away Saturday October 10, 2015. She was born October 23, 1936 in Forsyth County to the late Roy Calvin and Alice Saylor Dinkins. She was a member of Pilot View Friends Church. She was retired as the Financial Specialist for Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for 36 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Brady Willard, Feline Friends Sweet Pea and Love Bug. Surviving are her nephews Jerry Ray (Donna) Willard, Larry Hemric; great niece Michelle Dinkins; great nephews Brian Hemric, Zack Willard, and Weston Willard; Special K-9 friend Jingles. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday October 12, 2015 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday October 13, 2015 at Pilot View Friends Church by the Rev. Josh Williams and Rev. Nelson Puffenbarger. She will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to say a very special thanks to Marie Hutchens Nurse/friend and Margaret Brown friend, and the staff of Yadkin Nursing Center for the loving care given to Mrs. Willard.
