Calloway Jonesville - Scotty Dale Calloway, 64, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at his home. He was born November 1, 1951 in Surry County to James Leo Calloway and Erlene Macemore Calloway. Scotty was preceded in death by his father, Leo Calloway; sister, Mary Smith. In addition to his mother, Erlene Calloway, he is also survived by his wife, Debbie Tucker Calloway; children, Carrie (Brock) Spann, Chris (Leigh) Calloway; grandchildren, Hunter Spann, Kaylee Spann; brothers, Tony (Mary Lou) Calloway, Joey (Elaine) Calloway; several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 9, 2015 at Mineral Springs Baptist church by the Rev. Wesley Smith. Burial will follow at Little Elkin Baptist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville. The family would like to thank Mountain Valley Hospice and Dr. Will Ballard for all the love and care shown to Scotty.
