Speaks Yadkinville - Hubert Jeffery Speaks, 58, passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at his home. He was born November 9, 1957 in Yadkin County to Hubert Speaks and Kathleen Dalton Speaks. He was preceded in death by his father, Hubert Speaks. Surviving is his wife, Veronica King Speaks; mother, Kathleen Speaks; children, Leah (Lemont) Pilson, Dawanna Jackson; step-children, Charles Ballard, Reginald Ballard; grandchildren, Logan Pilson, Travion Kimber, Taiyanah Kimber; sisters, Paulette Tilley, Crystal (Thomas) Triplett; brothers, Robin (Jackie) Speaks, Donald Speaks; several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Karl Payne. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Speaks family.
