Boonville Mrs. Marie Hunter Pardue, 81, passed away Friday, November 27, 2015 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Pardue was born August 31, 1934 in Yadkin County to the late William Hugh and Beulah Creed Hunter. She was a faithful member of Arlington First Baptist Church where she served as outreach leader for the Isadore Dunman Sunday school class. Mrs. Pardue was and exceptional cook and loving mother. She loved her grandchildren with all her heart, and displayed unbelievable faith, especially during her illness. Mrs. Pardue is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Jimmy Allen Pardue; two sons, Mike (Elaine) Hicks and Christopher (Christina) Pardue; and four grandchildren, Chelsea Hicks, Seth T. Pardue, Sky Pardue, and Seth A. Pardue. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at 2:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Kenny Pardue, Rev. Mattie Ponce de Leon, and Rev. Jerry Fugate officiating. Burial will follow at Boonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
