Betty Jo McNeill Carraway

Mrs. Betty McNeill Carraway, 85, of Atlanta, GA. went home to be with the Lord Saturday December 5, 2015 at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth GA. She was born April 7, 1930 in Hoke County NC, to the late John Henry McNeill Sr. and Kate McKay McNeill. She was preceded in her death by her loving husband William Earl Carraway and her three siblings; Buster McNeill, Kathrine Hinnant and Margaret Stanton, also her first husband Charles Ray Lee, Sr. Mrs. Carraway was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She is survived by her sister Patricia McNeill of Tampa Florida, four children; Jackie Kennedy (spouse Paul Kennedy), Charles Ray Lee Jr. (spouse Dora Lee), Daniel Lee (spouse Leslee Lee) and Thomas Lee (spouse Barbara Lee). Mrs. Carraway was also blessed with eleven grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews as well as numerous extended family members. Mrs. Carraway loved the Lord with all her heart, soul and mind and she loved her neighbors as herself. Visitation will be held at Gentry Funeral Service at 5108 US Hwy 601 Yadkinville, NC 27055 from 12pm to 1pm Tuesday December 8, 2015 followed by a service at Boonville Baptist Church at 1:30pm By Rev.
