Benjamin Charlie Spillman, Sr.

Benjamin Charlie Spillman, Sr., 83, passed away Tuesday December 15, 2015. Mr. Spillman was born April 30, 1932 in Yadkin County to the late Benjamin and Josephine Goldie Adams Spillman. He was a member of Forbush Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Violet Ruth Deszern Spillman; two sons Judson Spillman and Michael Spillman. Survivng are his children Roselyn (Joe) Ramirez, Libby Spillman, Ben (Linda) Spillman, Jr.; grandchildren Jennifer (George) Memory, Mary (Wendy) Dancy, Michael Dancy, Crystal Spillman, Denise Spillman; a sister Annette Hobson, of Clemmons. His funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday December 18, 2015 at Forbush Baptist Church by the Rev Joe Souther. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Forsyth County 101 Hospice Lane Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
