Coy Blain Crabb

Boonville Mr. Coy Blain Crabb, 79, passed away Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mr. Crabb was born August 25, 1936 in Surry County to Willie and Ruby McCann Crabb. In addition to his parents, Mr. Crabb was preceded in death by his first wife, Bertha Everhart Crabb; four children, Ann Crabb, Jimmy Crabb, Penny Crabb, and Wayne Crabb; two sisters, Ima Jean Edwards and Wanda Lou Beanblossom; and one brother, JD Crabb. He is survived by his wife, Lois Watson Crabb; one daughter, Peggy Surratt; two step children, Odell (Linda) Vestal and Linda (Denny) Cockerham; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; one sister, Mary Sue Vanhoy; and one brother, Willie Fred (Lucy) Crabb. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11:00AM at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. JP Sizemoreand Rev. Jimmy Mahanofficiating. Burial will follow at Holloway Baptist Church in Lexington. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville is serving the Crabb family.
