Katie Lee Renegar

East Bend Mrs. Katie Lee Lineberry Renegar, 80, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Renegar was born June 3, 1935 in Yadkin County to John and Viola Davis Lineberry. She was a member of Richmond Hill Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Renegar was preceded in death bytwo sisters, Mary Ruth Spillman and Freddie Dinkins; and two brothers, Hoover Lineberry andPaul Lineberry. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Flay Burley Renegar; one son, Michael Flay Renegar; several nieces and nephews; and special friends, Judy Duggins, Amy and Seth Greer, and Anne, Kristen, and David Crutchfield. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 2:00PM at Richmond Hill Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Mtn. Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Mrs. Renegar. Also to Kathy Spillman for taking care of Mr.Renegar during this difficult time and to everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
