Sherman Lee Gregory

Dobson Mr. Sherman Lee Gregory, 69, passed away Friday, January 22, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Gregory was born January 1, 1947 in Wilkes County to Preston and Hazel Jennings Gregory. He retired from RJ Reynolds with more than 30 years of service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by his first wife, Patsy Gregory; a daughter, Debbie Gregory; a sister, Annie Kipp; and a brother, Butch Gregory. He is survived by four children, Donald (Bunny) Gregory, Vickie Horton, Jennifer Gregory (Jason Myers), and Amanda Easter (Darrell Hedrick); eleven grandchildren, Daniel and Danielle Gregory, Nikki Butcher (Jeff Edwards), Brandon, Tony, and Scott Horton, Dakota Bobbitt, Dale and Miranda Easter, Denise (Travis) Wright, and Tyler Myers; three great grandchildren, Gohan and Dillon Wright, and Elana Edwards; and two brothers, Sanford Gregory and Pete (Mary) Gregory. A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at 4:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Pastor Steve Barber officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
