Daren Gray

Gray Ronda, NC- Daren Gray, also known as "Daredevil Daren", 55, of Old Highway 60 passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at his home. He was born July 15, 1961 in Yadkin County to the late Richard Clyde and Mary Jane Welborn Gray. Mr. Gray was a member of Dennyville Baptist Church but had been attending Crossfire Church in Wilkesboro for the past several years. He loved to race MotorCross Dirtbikes, and loved riding his Harley. Mr. Gray was known for his forgiving heart and spirit that was shown through all the challenges he faced in his life. Surviving are his daughter, Jessica Craig of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Jason and Emily Craig; sister, Karen Stone and husband, Richard of Ronda; a brother Richard Gray, Jr. of Ronda; his aunts, including his special aunt whom he loved and called "Mom", JoAnn Welborn; and several uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Dennyville Baptist Church. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 12:00 PM in the Dennyville Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Joel Riley and Rev. Kermit Gray.
