Marjorie Alice Douglas Miller

Marjorie Alice Douglas Miller, 95, passed away Wednesday February 3, 2016. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born July 11, 1920 to the late Wiley Norman Douglas and Venna Beeman Douglas. She was a member of Courtney Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband G W Miller, Jr.; granddaughter Sonora Stein; a sister Dolores Streett; a brother Harold Douglas. Surviving are her children Arlene Stein (Sidney Harris), Grady W. Miller III (Babette), Roy B. Miller (Linda), Kay M. Cease (Kemp); seven grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; two sisters Norma Absher, Louise Ester. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday February 5, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday February 6, 2016 at Courtney Baptist Church by Dr. Richard H. Capps and Rev. Dallas Prestwood. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
