Mary Lou Shelton

Yadkinville Mrs. Mary Lou Martin Shelton, 98, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 05, 2016 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mrs. Shelton was born October 28, 1917 in Claudeville, VA to Arthur and Mecie Palmer Martin. She was a very loving lady who enjoyed taking care of everyone. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Shelton was preceded in death by twelve siblings and two sons-in-law. She is survived by two daughters, Alease Garner and Frankie Flinchum; four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren. A graveside service will be conducted Monday, February 8, 2016 at 2:00PM at Big Creek Primitive Baptist Church with Mike Martin officiating.
