Donald Gray Todd

Yadkinville Mr. Donald Gray Todd, 70, passed away Saturday, February 06, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Todd was born October 27, 1945 in Forsyth County to David W. Todd, Sr. and Dorothy Cruthirds Todd. He was a member of Deep Creek Baptist Church. Donald was employed by Food Fair for many years and retired from Lowes Foods in Yadkinville. In addition to his father, Mr. Todd was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Stephanie Cromer; his brother, David W. Todd, Jr.; and a sister, Dianne Sparks. He is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Paula Sheets Todd; five children, Terry (Jennifer) Todd, Jeff Todd, Ginny (Todd) Sapp, David Todd, and Zach Todd; his mother, Dorothy Todd; four grandchildren, Caleb, Josh, and Jacob Todd and Stacey Stevens; two great grandchildren; one sister, Donna (Randy) Doby; a brother, Doug (Darlene) Todd; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted Monday, February 8, 2016 at 3:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Rev. Chris Hauser officiating. Burial will follow at Deep Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
