Henderson "Junior" Winfield Macemore

Hamptonville Mr. Henderson Winfield Macemore, Jr., 77, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at his home. Mr. Macemore was born February 15, 1938 in Yadkin County to Henderson and Sallie Sprinkle Macemore. In addition to his parents, Mr. Macemore was preceded in death by his wife, Velma Wagoner Macemore; and a grandson, Scott Driver. He is survived by two children, Dawn Driver and Darrell (Mary Lou) Macemore; four grandchildren, Jacob and Elisabeth Driver and Cody and Brandon Macemore; and one sister, Carolyn Price. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 2:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Jonesville with Rev. Trent Wall and Steve Wagoner officiating. Burial will follow at Swaims Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pruitt Hospice of Wilkes, 902 W D St, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
