Mary Lee Wagoner

Hamptonville Mrs. Mary Lee Brown Wagoner, 83, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at Chatham Nursing and Rehab. Mrs. Wagoner was born April 17, 1932 in Yadkin County to James and Mary Belle Groce Brown. She was a member of Peacehaven Baptist Church. Mrs. Wagoner enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves play. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wagoner was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Weaver Wagoner; and seven siblings. She is survived by two children, Nicky Wagoner and Betty Jo (Roger) Holbrook; four grandchildren, Nichole (Casey) Roadcap, Dustin Wagoner, Mickey Holbrook, and Erik Holbrook; one great grandchild, Chloe Roadcap; and one sister, Annie Sue (Troy) Vestal. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00am at Peacehaven Baptist Church with Rev. Charlie Kennedy officiating. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Chatham Nursing and Rehab for the wonderful care given to Mrs. Wagoner.
