Claudette Holcomb-Roberts

Westfield Holcomb-Roberts Mrs. Claudette Holcomb Roberts, 80, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 27, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Roberts was born March 15, 1936 in Yadkin County to Ernest and Mamie Roberts Hemric. Mrs. Roberts married Sanford Blum Holcomb and together they had three children; Ernie (Beth) Holcomb, Mark (Beth) Holcomb, and Stephanie (Mike) Coe. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Erin (Kolby) Epley, Jordan and Matthew Holcomb, and Jennifer and Nick Coe. She had seven brothers and sisters, Faye, Carol, Libby (Max), Ann, Norma, Gary (Pat), and Danny. Mrs. Roberts remarried later in life to Barney William Roberts, Jr. Surviving with Barney are his children, Barney William III (Janice); Barbara, Bonnie (Robbie), and Belinda; grandchildren, Megan, Chris, Ryan, Grace, and Lee; and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 2:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel with Rev. Terry Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice, PO Box 1267 Yadkinville, NC 27055.
