Kerman Ray Ratledge

Mocksville Mr. Kerman Ray Ratledge, 79, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Yadkin Nursing Center. Mr. Ratledge was born September 5, 1936 in Forsyth County to Cletus and Ruby Baity Ratledge. He was a member of Courtney Baptist Church and enjoyed farming and Nascar. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ratledge was preceded in death by his loving wife, Janet Carter Ratledge. He is survived by two sons, Mike (Joanie) Wood and Bobby (Lisa) Wood; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one brother, Thurmond Ratledge; and two sisters, Marie Powell and Zella Gough. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 11:30AM at Courtney Baptist Church with Rev. Richard Capps officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 11:30AM prior to the service at the church.
