Jettie Elizabeth Evans

Boonville Mrs. Jettie Williams Triplett Evans, 75, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at Pruitt Healthcare. Mrs. Evans was born July 12, 1940 in Surry County to John and Myrtle Coe Williams. She was a member of Boonville Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Carol Williams. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Rayford Franklin Evans; two children, Darrell Triplett and Joy (Scotty) Spillman; three grandchildren, Lauren (Shyea) Davis, Lane (Candance) Triplett, and Remington Franklin Spillman; one great grandchild, Carol Lynn Triplett; a brother, Franklin (Betty Ann) Williams; a step brother, Wayne Gentry; a step sister-in-law, Joyce Gentry; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 3:30PM at Boonville Cemetery with Rev. Larry Thompson officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00PM prior to the service at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pruitt Health Hospice, 902 West D Street Suite B, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
