Annice Collins Caudill

CaudillHays - Mrs. Annice Arlene Collins Caudill, 84, formerly of Rock Creek Road passed away peacefully, Monday, April 11, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 11, 1932 in Surry County to the late Lewis and Ethel Harrold Collins. Mrs. Caudill co-owner and operator, with her husband, of the Western Auto of Wilkesboro from 1962-1995. She was a faithful member of Mountain View Baptist Church in Hays, NC where she served the church as a Sunday School Teacher, and was a member of the Choir. Mrs. Caudill loved all of her family, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother to each of them. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edwin Joe Caudill on December 31, 2008; and by her 3 sisters, Barbara Hanes, Jessie Royal, Hazel Luffman; and by her 7 brothers, Ed, Tommy, Hubert, Donald, Lionel, Harold, and James Collins. Surviving are her children, Randy (Sandy) Caudill, North Wilkesboro; Jan (Dr. Allen) Barker, Yadkinville; Beth (Dr. Eric) Caudill, Marion, SC; Dr. Scott (Cassie) Caudill, Cornelia, Ga.; grandchildren, Stephen Caudill, Tammy Bailey, Jonathan Barker, Rebekah Simpson, Matthew Caudill, Joshua Caudill, Danielle Caudill; and 7 Great-Grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 10-11:00 AM Thursday at Northwood Baptist Church in Yadkinville. Her Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM Thursday at Northwood Baptist Church. Interment will follow the service in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery in Hays, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mountain Valley Hospice, SECCU Yadkin Hospice Home Campaign, 320 West Maple Street, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
