Vernon Edward Shore

Shore Yadkinville - Vernon Edward Shore, 66, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2016 at Forsyth Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1949 to the late Marshall and Macle Stamper Shore. Vernon retired from B&H Hair Supply and was a member of Turners Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son, Christopher Shore; brothers, Russell Shore and Charles Shore. Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Judith Brown Shore; children, Jonathan (Samantha) Shore, Jennifer (James) Hart, and Kristie Shore; grandchildren, Haylee, Mackenzie, Joshua, Christopher, and Emma; brother, Rev. John R. Shore; and many other relatives and friends. His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at Turners Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Scott Welch and Dr. Allen Barker. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
