Susan Yvonne Collins

Jonesville Mrs. Susan Walker Collins, 68, passed away Sunday, May 01, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mrs. Collins was born November 28, 1947 in Flynt, Michigan to Curtis and Claudia Gregory Ticer. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Collins was preceded in death by a brother, Curtis Walker. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Derentz Wayne Collins; three children, Dianne (Tim) Campbell, Shelby (Brian) Horton, and Bradley (Jenise) Collins; six grandchildren, Ashley (Nathan) Parker, Brett Campbell, Hannah & Ellie Horton, Nathan (Hallie) Collins, Daniel (Diamond) Collins; one sister, Sherry (Glenn) Williams; one brother, Eric (Sandra) Ticer; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 10:00AM at Crestwood Memorial Gardens with Bishop BJ Nelson officiating. The family will receive friends Monday, May 2, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Jonesville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice, SECU Hospice Home of Yadkin, 320 W. Maple Street Yadkinville, NC 27055.
