Toledo Gentry Shores

Shores Yadkinville - Juia Toledo Gentry Shores, 82, passed away Sunday, May 1, 2016 at her home. She was born January 8, 1934 in Surry County to the late Risdon Decator Gentry and Rosie Annie Mounce Gentry. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde William Shores, daughter, Charlotte Diane Nance; grandson, Jeremy William Shores; six sisters; and two brothers. Surviving are her children, Tony (Marjetta) Shores, William Blake Shores, Tonya Lynn (Jonathan) Marshall, Walter Craig Shores; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at Welcome Valley Baptist Church by Pastor Bill Jenkins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Shores family.
