Johnson Yadkinville - David Wayne Johnson, 54, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016. He was born November 23, 1961 in Forsyth County. He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Edsel Johnson. Surviving are his mother, Margetta Ellen Johnson; children, Stephanie (Neal) Gragg, Joshua Wayne Johnson (Kimberly Brown), Jonathan Wesley Johnson (Courtney Williard); grandchildren, Hannah Johnson, Dustin Gragg, Katelin Ryan, Raegan Gragg, Trenton Ryan, Alexis Johnson, Trace Johnson;great granddaughter, Paige Ryan; sisters, Janice (Kenny) Gregory, Peggie (Joe) Cook; brother, James (Judy) Johnson; special friend, Tena Doss; several nieces and nephews. His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Robert Wiles. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Flowers accepted or memorials can be made to the donor's choice.
