Faye Comer

Yadkinville Mrs. Faye Allen Comer, 83, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Willowbrook Health Care. Mrs. Comer was born October 18, 1932 in Davie County to Brack and Rene Williams Allen. She enjoyed flowers and listening to 88.1 Dr. J. Vernon McGee. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Comer was preceded in death by her husband, John Cyrus Comer; and several siblings. She is survived by two daughters, Rita (Tommy) Ashburn and Renee Petree; five grandsons, Johnny Stevenson, Robert White, Henry White, Sr., Derrick McCollum, Daniel Petree; three great grandchildren, Henry "Vincent" White, Jr., Olivia White, and Autumn White; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at 2:00PM at South Oak Ridge Baptist Church with Rev. Phil Beavers officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
