Lewell Franklin Gentry

Yadkinville Lewell Franklin Gentry, 82, went to be with the Lord, Friday, May 13, 2016 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. Lewell was born December 10, 1933 in Surry County to the late Rufus Lewellyn and Verna Boyd Gentry. He was of the Presbyterian faith. Lewell is survived by his wife of 54 years, Alice Manuel Gentry; one daughter, Terri Gentry Moose; one son, Tracy Glenn Gentry; two granddaughters, Melissa Lynn Moose and Amanda Moose Caudle and husband Lesley; one great grandson, Archer Harrison Caudle; and one sister, Doris Gentry Gracy. A funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at 2:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel Hwy 601 in Yadkinvillewith Jeff McCann officiating. Burial will follow at Mtn. Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Gentry Funeral Service in Yadkinville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home, 101 Hospice Lane Winston Salem, NC 27103. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Kate B.
