Santford Ray Gregory

Dobson Mr. Santford Ray Gregory, 68, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Gregory was born March 12, 1948 in Iredell County to Preston and Hazel Jennings Gregory. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Caudle Gregory; two children, Charles Preston Gregory and Peggy Gail Gregory; one sister, Annie Kipp; and two brothers, Sherman and Butch Gregory. He is survived by two daughters, Dorcas Beck (Gerald Pea) and Pam (Michael) Flynn; five grandchildren, Kayla (Johnie) Collins, Katelyn (Keith) Padgett, Katie Beck, Justin Flynn, and Hailey Flynn; four great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Kira, and Julya Collins, and Leetta Padgett; and one brother, Pete (Mary) Gregory. A funeral service will be conducted Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 2:00PM at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville with Steve Barber officiating. Burial will follow at Gregory Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Rd, Dobson, NC 27017 or to Shepherds Rehab Center, 2020 Peachtree St. NW Atlanta, GA 30309.
