Benton Jonesville - Lou Alice Vestal Benton, 90, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016. She was born August 10, 1925 in Yadkin County. She was preceded in death by her husband, P.D. Benton; mother, Leler Vestal; brother, Sammy Benton. Surviving are her son, Paul (Zella) Benton; grandchildren, Sandra Bryant (Johnny Triplett), Tim (Holly) Benton; great grandchildren, Amber (Blake) Tilley, Jake Bryant, Ty Benton, Kenlee Benton; great great grandchildren, Kamdyn Tilley, Kassidy Tilley. Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2016 at Fall Creek Baptist Church by the Rev. Don Hudson and the Rev. Josh Blevins. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at Fall Creek Baptist Church. Gentry Family Funeral Service in Jonesville is serving the Benton family.
