Patsy Ann Hutson

Elkin Mrs. Patsy Ann Atwood Hutson, 78, passed away Monday, July 18, 2016 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Mrs. Hutson was born November 26, 1937 in Forsyth County to Theodore and Betty Harris Atwood. She was a member of Victory Chapel Baptist Church. Mrs. Hutson enjoyed flowers and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hutson was preceded in death by three daughters, Lisa, Shelia and Patricia Hutson; a grandson, Elijah Swaim; and three brothers, Terry, Ted and Roger Atwood. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Roger Franklin Hutson; two children, Leslie Hutson (Mindy St. John) and Pennie (Lee) Boyd; four grandchildren, Matthew (Jessica) Swaim, Joshua (Tracy) Swaim, Andrew (Jordan) Hutson, and Nalon (Miranda) Hutson; three great grandchildren; and two brothers, Tim Atwood and Carson (Rita) Atwood. A funeral service will be conducted Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 12:00PM at Victory Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Burton, Rev. Keith Stanley, and Rev. Tink Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Fall Creek Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 to 12:00 prior to the service at the church. The family wishes to thank the staff of WFBMC ICU 4th floor, Hugh Chatham ICU 2nd floor, friends and family, and the church family at Victory Chapel for the loving care, support and prayers during this difficult time.
