Jesse Gray Groce

Yadkinville Mr. Jesse Gray Groce, 77, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at his home. Mr. Groce was born February 4, 1939 in Yadkin County to Delbert and Cloie Dixon Groce. He was a member of Forbush Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Groce was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Groce and Ann Reece. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty Sue Jester Groce; one daughter, Karen (Ken) Malloy; one grandson, Randy Malloy; one brother, Edwin (Betty) Groce; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 11:00am at Forbush Baptist Church cemetery with Rev. Grady Trivette and Rev. Kelley Groce officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mtn. Valley Hospice SECU Hospice Home of Yadkin, 320 W. Maple St. Yadkinville, NC 27055 or to Forbush Baptist Church 3917 Old Hwy 421 East Yadkinville NC 27055. The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Mtn.
