Ralph Delona Wooten, 79, passed away Saturday July 30, 2016. Ralph believed that Jesus was his personal Lord and Savior, and his family finds great peace and comfort in John 14:1-4. 1. Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself that where I am, there ye may be also. 4. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. Ralph Delona Wooten (Grandaddy) was born in Yadkinville, NC to Spencer and Rachel Wooten. He was a graduate of Yadkinville High School and devoted many years to his career at Sara Lee. He spent nearly 60 years beside his wife Shirely J. Wooten and had one daughter Shelia Wooten Doby (Daddy's Girl). Ralph took great pride in his two grandsons, Justin (Jordan) Gammons and Austin Doby and his great grandson ( and little buddy) Isaac Ryan Gammons. Ralph had two brothers, George and Paul Wooten, and four sisters. When Ralph wasn't hunting, fishing or attending his grandson's ball games, you might find him playing music with his close friends and family. The family will have a graveside service at 7:00 PM on August 01, 2016 at Yadkinville Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. J. P. Sizemore. The family would like to extend thanks to Blueridge Medical Center, Yadkinville Dialysis Center and Mountain Valley Hospice for the loving care given to Ralph.
