Mary Faye Plott Hayes

Mary Faye Plott Hayes, 76, passed away Monday August 1, 2016. She was born February 7, 1940 in Yadkin County to the late Roy M. and Hattie Miller Plott. She was a volunteer with Yadkin Christian Ministries. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters Nellie Plott, Betty South; a brother Clarence Plott. Surviving are her son Andy (Susan) Hayes; two grandchildren Andrea Hayes, Jennifer Hayes; four great grandchildren Haylee, Chloe, Charlie, Kayelyn she loved very much; a sister Nancy (Harold) Vaughn; two brothers R.J. (Edith) Plott, Ray Plott; special friends Barbara, Carolyn, Ruby, Betty, Brenda, Donna, Doris, Erica. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM Thursday August 4, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral will be conducted at 2:00 PM following the visitation at Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. James Tallent. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive United Methodist Church. The family would like to say a very special thanks to the staff of Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the loving care given to Mrs. Hayes.
