Shirley Anne Minton Faw

Faw Yadkinville - Shirley Anne Minton Faw, 73, passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home. She was born October 22, 1942 in Baltimore, MD to the late Howard McCellan Minton and Hazel Jane Bush Minton. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, David Minton, Bill Minton, Howard "Mac" Minton, and Douglas Minton. Surviving are her husband, Richard E. Faw; daughters, Jennifer Faw Crawford (Jesse), Cynthia Faw Vanhoy (Donald); grandson/son, Christopher Jared Faw; grandchildren, Emily Muncus, Cale Martin, Caitlyn Vanhoy, Zachary Vanhoy; great grandchildren, Mason, Alexis, Skylar; sisters, Martha Peeler (Barry), Sue Ewing (Alan), Jean Lancaster; brother, Jim (Margaret) Minton; and several nieces and nephews. Her memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Gentry Family Chapel in Yadkinville by the Rev. Andy Lambert. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, August, 10, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville, which is serving the Faw family.
