Bobby Dean Gregory

Hamptonville Mr. Bobby Dean Gregory, 76, passed away Friday, September 02, 2016 at Woltz Hospice Home. Mr. Gregory was born October 16, 1939 in Wilkes County to Vander William and Treva Combs Gregory. He attended Mtn. View Baptist Church. Mr. Gregory was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Caroleen Mathis Gregory; three children, Tammy Hutchens, David Gregory, and Patty (Mark) Cheek; four grandchildren, Greg Hutchens (Heather Strickland), Brandon Hutchens (Ashley Adams), April (Derek) Millaway, and Holly Gregory; two step grandchildren, Ryan and Samantha Cheek; four great grandchildren, Branson, Connor, and Katie Hutchens, and Levi Millaway; three sisters, Linda Everidge, Kay Swaim, and Carol Stokes; and three brothers, Billy (Ruth) Gregory, Tony (Jean) Gregory, and Danny (Lynn) Gregory. A funeral service will be conducted Sunday, September 4, 2016 at 3:00PM at Mtn. View Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Tucker and Rev. Joel Riley officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice Home, 945 Zephyr Road Dobson, NC 27017.
