Libby Gentry Dunn

Dunn Boonville- Mrs. Libby G. Dunn, 73, of West Main Street passed away peacefully Monday September 5, 2016 at Yadkin Nursing Center. She was born October 23, 1942 in Forsyth County to the late Sherman David and Ruby Sizemore Gentry. Mrs. Dunn enjoyed spending her time sewing, making crafts, and quilting. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Dunn. Surviving are her children, Lisa (Ricky) Gibson, Tonja (Johnny) Hayes, Matthew (Sherri) Dorn, Gregg (Charlotte) Dorn; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Tony (Ann) Gentry, Gary (Beverly) Gentry, and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30 PM Thursday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. Her funeral service will be 3:30 PM Thursday in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Jesse Miles. Burial will follow in the Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Baptist Childrens Home, 204 Idol St, Thomasville, NC 27360.
