Jack Wilson Brooks

Brooks Yadkinville- Mr. Jack Wilson Brooks, 68, of hoots road passed away Friday, September 2, 2016. He was born January 31, 1948 in Surry County to the late Thomas Wilson and Mary Brown Brooks. Mr. Brooks was an excellent carpenter, loved music and playing guitars with various bands. He was always willing to help others, and his door was always open for those who needed him. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Rachel Mae Hunter "Tootie" Brooks. Surviving are his sons, Jack Allen Brooks and his wife, Amy; Jeff Wilson Brooks and his girlfriend Lisa Bell; grandchildren, Mary Magdelen Hodge, Weldon Campbell, Cassidy Cheyenne Brooks, Thomas Zachary Brooks, Chellsey Reed and husband Shawn, and Hanna Beasely and husband Steven; two great grandchildren, Cash and Wynter Reed; a sister, Louise Baity; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
