Homer Parks Hayes

Homer Parks Hayes, 91, said goodbye to this world and went to join his wife Ruby in Heaven on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Willowbrook Health Care in Yadkinville. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry and Sallie Cooper Hayes, Ruby Draughn Hayes - his wife of 63 years, thirteen brothers and sisters and an infant daughter, Jane. He is survived by a son Homer Franklin Hayes and wife Jerrie of Yadkinville, two granddaughters: Jerrie Elizabeth "Libby" Hayes of Lewisville and Fiancé, Mitchell Wiles and Laurie Hayes-Tucker and husband Michael of East Bend and a great-granddaughter, Riley Victoria Tucker. The family will receive friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Thursday September 22, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 11:00 AM following the visitation in the Gentry Family Chapel by Rev. Marvin Blackburn. Burial will be at Boonville Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Willowbrook Rehab and Health Care, 333 E. Lee Ave. Yadkinville, NC 27055.
