Virginia Louise Thomas

Virginia Louise Thomas, 75, of Yadkinville, passed away at Forsyth Medical Center on Thursday morning September 22, 2016. Virginia was born in Oakvale, (Mercer County), West Virginia on April 1, 1941, the daughter of late Gladys Viola and Ozle Arthur Thomas. She was preceded in death by her parents, several brothers; Ozle, Jack, Marvin, Ellis, Lonnie (Wilma) Thomas; two sisters Mary (Rex) Carter, Beulah (Harold) Craycraft. Surviving are a brother Roger (Karen) Thomas; six nephews and several great -nieces and nephews. She was retired from AT&T/ Westinghouse. Many thanks go out the loving nursing staff, therapist, and other staff at Willowbrook Nursing Center of Yadkinville. Where she was a resident since 2015. Special thanks to Brandi Semones for making her feel at home and to Dione Roal, Mary Ryan for going above and beyond their duties in the care for our beloved "Lou Lou", as well as Pam Plowman (Receptionist). Pam was more than an employee she became a friend. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Sunday September 25, 2016 at Conerstone Ministries by Rev.
