Arthur Shorty Wagoner

Arthur "Shorty" Wagoner, 87, passed away Friday September 23, 2016. He was born March 29, 1929 in Yadkin County to the late Roby and Louisia Shore Wagoner. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Gladys Marion Haynes Wagoner; two brothers R.J. Wagoner and Michael Wagoner. Surviving are his sister Betty Baity; a brother Rev. Howard (Linda) Wagoner; special friends Clifton (Connie) Wynne and Shirley Cook. The family will receive friends from 3-4 PM Monday September 26, 2016 at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His funeral will be conducted at 4:00 following the visitation at Gentry Family Chapel by the Rev. Howard Wagoner. Burial will follow at Yadkin Memorial Gardens.
