Goldie Marie McKnight Hutchens

Goldie Marie McKnight Hutchens, 91, passed away Saturday October 8, 2016. She was born June 7, 1925 in Yadkin County to the late Joshua and Sarah Hutchens McKnight. Mrs. Hutchens loved Embroidery and also quilting. She was a member of Pilot View Friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey Odell Hutchens, a son Harold Hutchens, and one sister. Surviving are her children Doris (Lynn) Johnson, Neal Hutchens, Ronald Hutchens; Daughter-in-law Shirley Hutchens; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 2-3 PM Sunday October 9, 2016 at Pilot View friends. Her service will follow at 3:00 PM by the Rev. Josh Williams and Rev. Brian Poindexter. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Pilot View Friends Cemetery Fund 3225 Pilot View Church Rd.
