Mary Jo "Jo" Fredere Ramsey

Ramsey East Bend- Mrs. Mary Jo "Jo" Fredere Ramsey, 60, of Friendship Circle passed away peacefully, Sunday, October 16, 2016 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born November 25, 1955 in Columbus County to the late Francis Bolton Fredere, Jr. and Geraldine "Geri" Fore Fredere. Mrs. Ramsey worked for several years as a Registered Nurse with Hospice of Forsyth County, and was a member of New Home United Methodist Church. Surviving are her devoted husband, George D. "Doug" Ramsey, of the home; a daughter, Ashlee Jo Ramsey; a sister, Lisa Fredere Wood; and a brother, Francis B. "Frank" Fredere III. A graveside service will be 11:00 AM Friday, October 21, 2016 at Whiteville Memorial Cemetery in Whiteville, NC by Rev. Andy Stovall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care Center of Winston-Salem, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC, 27103.
