Harold Jones Holcomb

Holcomb Boonville- Mr. Harold Jones Holcomb, 80, of Williams Street passed away peacefully Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson. Mr. Holcomb was born May 29, 1936 in Yadkin County to the late Jones Preston and Cora Swaim Holcomb. He was the co-owner of H & W Motors for over 40 years, and attended Union Cross Friends Church. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his sister, Angeline Collins; and 2 brothers, Ernest Holcomb, Albert Holcomb. Surviving are his devoted wife of 56 years, Carolyn Williams Holcomb, of the home; his daughter, Lonna H. (Jim) Stevens, Clemmons; grandson, Chase Stevens; a sister, Connie H. Hobson, Yadkinville; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Friday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. His graveside service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Union Cross Friends Church Cemetery by Rev. Robin Dixon.
